  we had a pretty shitty time just lately, what with the boiler expense, we had to have tiny (the oldest one) put to sleep, that was a tough time for all of us especially sam. to be fair though she was ready to go. 16 1/2 not a bad age.
  loads of other shit too, probably nothing too bad on its own, but when it all comes at once it hits hard.
  on the upside, i got my yellow belt after only 3 weeks of training, hoping to double grade in september, the kids will be taking theirs in sept too.
  have you got back into it after busting your leg, or haven't you bothered. what is it you do/did?
  do you know, i would have probably been better sending you a propper email, hell or even phone you.

  no, not yet. i was supposed to be starting on my back piece last week, then the boiler packed up. two weeks without hot water and £1300 later its fixed. the tats are gonna have to wait, i'm thinking maybe start it for my birthday pressie in october. should have a large chunk paid off boiler by then.
  me and the kids have just started going to mixed martial arts, white belts all round. when we were kids did we have to fight each other in a comp, i think you won or is it just my imagination?

  Get her to do Blencathra, it really isnt that bad, maybe just a bit polished in a few places, and where it is really exposed there are usually easier routes round..........It had to be done :-)

  Hey Phil,

  I only went to the pub one day actually, but i did get hammered, I was actually packing as I move out and into a new place this weekend. The Lakes sound awesome, I really need to get myself out there and into the fresh air.

  Have fun on Helvellyn mate, and give me a shout when you are back, we will try and get some climbing sorted.
